The numbers explained

What do decimal odds mean?

Simple examples to help you read a decimal price.

A decimal price includes the original stake in a potential total return. The examples below assume a successful selection and no deductions.

Decimal oddsExample stakePotential total returnPotential profit
1.50RM 10RM 15RM 5
2.00RM 10RM 20RM 10
3.50RM 10RM 35RM 25

Potential total return = stake × decimal odds. Potential profit = total return − stake.

An unsuccessful selection can lose the full stake. A quoted price does not guarantee a result.

Know the market

The market gives the price its meaning

Always read the event, selection, line and settlement period together.

Match Result (1X2)

A three-way market: home win, draw or away win. Check whether it covers regular time only.

Handicap

A stated adjustment is applied for settlement. Different lines can have different settlement rules.

Over / Under

A market on whether a specified total finishes above or below a line. Check the period and whether a push is possible.

Match Winner

A selection on the winner under the stated rules. Extra time, tie-breaks and retirements may be treated differently by each provider.

Check exactly which outcome the price refers to.

  3. Confirm the format

Make sure you understand the odds format, market line and period.

  4. Review the rules

Read settlement, cancellation and any applicable deductions or restrictions.

Understanding prices

Why can match odds change?

Prices can change as an event approaches or takes place. A displayed price is a snapshot, and the official provider determines which price is available when a selection is accepted.

Shorter odds usually correspond to a higher implied probability than longer odds. This is a price-based calculation, not a prediction or a guarantee; provider margins also affect the prices.

Do not confuse a price with certainty

Any outcome can remain uncertain. Check current information, set personal limits and never treat betting as an income source.

Frequently asked questions

Match Odds questions

Are these live match odds?

No. All prices on this page are examples for explanation. Check the official destination for available events and current prices.

Does the total return include my stake?

For standard decimal odds, yes. Multiplying the stake by the decimal price gives a potential total return for a successful selection, before any applicable deductions.

What happens if my selection is unsuccessful?

The full stake can be lost. Special cases such as void selections or pushes depend on the rules of the market and provider.

Do shorter odds guarantee a win?

No. A shorter price does not guarantee an outcome. Implied probability is based on the quoted price and is affected by the provider margin.

Can I place a selection on this page?

No. This landing page provides information only. It has no bet slip, account balance or transaction processing.
